Gallery: Ko Tao, Thailand

Of the Thai islands I visited on my year of travel, Ko Tao was my favourite. This was mainly because it is so small and much less developed than others, such as Ko Samui. There is still plenty of tourism, due to the island’s popularity as a diving spot, but you get much more of an idyllic, off-the-beaten-track vibe here. It you don’t plan on scuba diving (I didn’t – it scares me!) there is still so much to do and see on this beautiful island.
